Augustana DPT Program

Dr. 马特Volansky, 那不勒斯, 佛罗里达, joined Augustana as the director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Along with his role as dean of the School of 健康 Professions, Volansky continues to lead Augustana’s DPT program through the processes of accreditation.

Volansky earned a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Toledo at Medical College of Ohio, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in health care from Baldwin-Wallace College, DPT from Northeastern University and Ph.D. in biomedical informatics from Rutgers University. Volansky came to AU from the University of Mount Union, where he was an assistant professor. He has also been involved in private practice for more than 25 years.

Augustana is proud to announce that the university’s Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) graduates within its School of 健康 Professions achieved a 95.5% National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN®) pass rate in 2023 — the highest of all 4-year BSN programs in South Dakota, and the third highest among all RN programs in the state. 除了, Augustana’s December 2023 Accelerated 护理 Program graduates achieved a 100% pass rate.

Augustana University will offer a major in strength & conditioning beginning in the fall. Based within the School of 健康 Professions, the program is set to be the first in South Dakota accredited by the Council on Accreditation of 强度 and 调节 Education (CASCE).

Augustana is excited to once again host its annual Arthur Olsen Student Research Symposium, set to take place on Saturday, 4月13日, at the Froiland Science Complex, located on the university’s campus.
